Fondation Tremblant

FONDATION TREMBLANT

It is essential to give back locally to the region that has generously hosted 24h Tremblant's events since its beginnings.

More than 5 million dollars have been donated to the Fondation Tremblant since 2001  to support its mission : helping underprivileged and special needs children in the MRC des Laurentides.

What is Fondation Tremblant?

The Fondation Tremblant, our local partner, is dedicated to helping underprivileged youth in the MRC des Laurentides. It gives these children a chance for a better quality of life and reach their full potential in sports, education, culture, and arts. The foundation plays a key role in allocating donations to the most relevant and urgent projects proposed by accredited and recognized charitable organizations in the region.

Did you know?

  • In the MRC des Laurentides, 11.5% of children aged 0 to 17 live in low-income households. That’s 1 in 9 children!
  • Young people living in financial and material insecurity are more likely to be vulnerable in at least one area of development.
  • Schools in the MRC des Laurentides are among the most disadvantaged in the province, with half having a deprivation index of 9 or 10.
  • Since its creation in 1997, Fondation Tremblant has donated over $8.8M to regional organizations to support children in need.

Where do your donations go?

Through the mediation of numerous local organisations, the Fondation Tremblant works to mitigate the deficiencies and the needs, to offer the “little extra” that makes a big difference in the lives of children and helps them develop as much as possible.

insécurité alimentaire

They help address essential needs in food security. Supported projects include, notably, the purchase and distribution of supplies in food banks, as well as lunchbox or breakfast programs.

Camps de jour

In day camps, they provide accessibility for low-income families as well as support for young people living with disabilities or special needs, ensuring inclusion for all children.

initiatives jeunes

They support initiatives for young people facing temporary challenges such as anxiety, substance use, grief, or violence, as well as prevention projects with organizations like Tangage, Palliacco, Escouade pour l’enfance, and the Fondation André-Boudreau.

initiatives éducatives

They contribute to the development of young people’s full potential in our schools by supporting educational initiatives (such as reading projects, learning through play with Espace Ludiko, or science programs with Prof Dino), as well as artistic, cultural, and sports activities (for example, upgrading sports equipment or supporting outdoor activities with the Fondation des Amis du Domaine St-Bernard).

TSA Coche Café

They enhance the daily lives of young people with special needs—physical disabilities, intellectual impairments, or neurodivergent conditions (ASD, ADHD, learning difficulties)—by funding projects such as speech therapy with CASO, kits and activities for young caregivers through the Maison des Parents d’Enfants Handicapés des Laurentides, or the TSA Coche Café at Polyvalente des Monts, a café where ASD youth, supported by their teachers, apply their learning in a real-world setting.
