Years of participation
My motivations:
For those of you who don’t know already, skiing has always been a huge part of my life. I’ve been alpine skiing on St. Sauveur since before I could remember, raced competitively and as of the last 10 years I have fallen in love with nordic skiing. Skiing has brought me so much joy and happiness and now that I have graduated from McGill University it is time to give back and ski for someone else’s joy and happiness. In this incredible event I have the honour of participating with the Redbirds ski club, whose rich history can be found here: http://redbirdsskiclub.com/introduction/ and representing the McGill Nordic Ski Team http://www.mcgillathletics.ca/sports/2012/11/7/1107120752.aspx. 24h Tremblant is not about how many laps you ski, it’s how much funding you raise. So that is why I implore you to please donate what you can to this amazing cause of aiding sick children. You can look more on the site to find out more about the foundations that 24h Tremblant is supporting, but I am appealing to your generosity to donate. Every bit counts and I hope to reach my goal of 300$ (although I’m hoping for $500). For donations $20 and above, you can even get a tax receipt! Thank you!!
