Years of participation
My motivations:
Hey friends!
I'm participating in my third year of 24h Tremblant - a relay event where teams ski for 24 hours straight, in support of sick kids.
Each team will be skiing from 12 PM Saturday, through the night to 12 PM Sunday. Our goal is to come together and raise both hopes and funds in support of children's health.
Donations will be distributed to the Charles-Bruneau Foundation (65%), CHEO (20%), and various other organizations (15%) that support both medical and social health for children. The Charles-Bruneau Foundation supports children and families battling cancer. It is CBF's mission that one day, children with cancer will be able to confidently say that when they grow up, they will be cured. The Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) also plays a huge role in helping children with cancer and with many other health challenges. Every year, CHEO helps 500,000 children from Eastern Ontario, western Quebec, Nunavut and Northern Ontario. It's thanks to generous donations that these foundations are able to reach as many children as they do.
I'm sure that many of you have had a loved one affected by cancer and are aware of the heartache it brings to families. I'm sure many of you have had loved ones helped by CHEO and are aware of how crucial of a service they provide.
If this cause calls to you and if you have the means to donate, any contribution big or small would be greatly appreciated! It is with small, kind acts that we can change the world.
Much love,
Megan
