This is my third year involved in this event. Honestly, I didn't really get it my first year, I knew the cause was important and impactful, but hearing the stories and meeting the kids who were being sponsored, I KNEW I would be back year after year.

This year, we are raising funds beside Théodore’s a 9 year old who spent a year far away from his family, fighting like a champ. Imagining my boys far apart for such a time period breaks my heart, and although I am so proud that Theodore persevered and is home with his sister and family now, I know it must have been so difficult.

We are all touched, directly or indirectly, by children's causes. It is incredibly heartening and gratifying to know that our efforts lead to concrete changes in their lives.

I appeal to your generous heart in helping me reach my target, which will in turn help advance this worthy cause.
