Aira Serrame

This is going to be my 2nd time participating at 24H Tremblant and I'm super stoked! I believe in the philosophy that the key to happiness starts with giving. I'm participating in this challenge to give back to the community and put a smile on kids and their families. I also partake in this challenge to honour everyone who dedicate their lives to the betterment of children's health and well-being. 

I remember being a kid not too long ago and hoping to participate in activities like sports, dance and summer camps. However, growing up with weak lungs in a poor community in a 3rd world country and barely surviving with a single mother, we had very limited resources to both maintain my health and enroll me in such pursuits. That said, we kept fighting and now that I'm in a much more stable state, I'd like to be an instrument to those experiencing similar hardships that I've been through. Seeing generous organizations like Fondation 24H Tremblant do things like this to make the world a less lonely place to less fortunate kids and families truly warms my heart because I was once in these kids’ position. 

In these kids, I see myself, and making them experience joy also creates joy within me. Thank you for supporting this fundraiser, I can't wait to be back on the slopes soon :)
